Reviewers praise Sawyer for his concise prose, which rfcuerdos been compared to that of the science-fiction master Isaac Asimov. I did try to struggle through but then gave up as it was not getting any better. Not the worst book I’ve ever read, but certainly recuerdps great.

The television show might have fizzled out after four or five episodes limping through a whole diminishing season after nonethelessbut it still made for a better experience than this book.

If you watch the show, it will not be ruin if you decide to read the book and visa versa. The sales of his first five books were uninspiring and Sawyer faced being dropped by his publisher.

Preview — Flashforward by Robert J. Much like the TV series where I saw the first episode or two and then lost interest, I really didn’t connect with any of the caracters and the ending left me a bit cold. I found the book too heavy on the technical and scientific description.

Flash Forward by Robert J. Getting past all the physics theories and extended descriptions, the idea behind the story is interesting. Any of the three might have resulted in a more coherent plot. Totally amazing if you love physics. His award winning The Terminal Experiment confirmed his place as a major international science-fiction writer.

Flashforward had a great pull – See your own life 20 years into the future for 2 minutes and try to work out how I had read Sawyer before and had enjoyed him, so picking this up was a no-brainer. Sawyer graduated in from the Radio and Television Arts Program at Ryerson University, where he later worked as an instructor. I picked it up because I rediscovered the TV show on Netflix, and really got into it.
